THE STORY BEHIND THE PHILOSOPHY

The Story of Syncronicia

A philosophy shaped through lived experience, independent inquiry and a continuing curiosity about what it means to be human.

It Began with Questions

Syncronicia did not begin as a course, a method for achieving a particular state, or a set of beliefs to adopt. It began with questions about human experience.

Why can the same circumstances affect two people so differently? Why do familiar reactions sometimes take hold before we have considered what is happening? And how might greater awareness change the way we participate in ordinary life?

These questions became part of an ongoing inquiry into the relationship between our physical experience, interpretations, emotional expression and capacity to observe ourselves.

THE FOUNDER

Experience Before Explanation

Syncronicia grew from the observations and experiences of its founder, Steven Bettles - an Australian author, metaphysician, inventor and entrepreneur whose work has crossed practical business, human relationships and philosophical exploration.

Rather than separating inner development from daily responsibilities, Steven's inquiry has focused on how understanding can be tested in everyday decisions, conversations, pressures and opportunities.

The resulting philosophy invites examination rather than unquestioning agreement.

The world isn't going to stop changing because we've found our centre...

But we can change how we participate in it.

THE UNDERLYING IDEA OF SYNCRONICIA

Four Realms. One Human Experience.

Over time, Syncronicia developed a framework of four interconnected dimensions of experience. Their relationship offers a practical way to recognise imbalance and cultivate a more appropriate response to changing circumstances.

01

Form

The Receiver

Our physical experience and senses.

02

Mind

The Interpreter

The meanings we give to experience.

03

Energy

The Projector

Our emotional and expressive dimension.

04

Presence

The Observer

Our capacity to notice our inner condition.

Finding your centre is not a permanent position. It is a responsive relationship with life.

Finding Your Centre

The foundational book, Finding Your Centre, brings the philosophy into an accessible form through practical observations and everyday experiences.

It stands independently as a complete work, while offering an invitation to readers who wish to investigate the wider ideas of coherence and conscious participation.

The School of Coherence

The Syncronicia School of Coherence was developed to help interested people explore the ideas and practise applying them. Its four educational tiers describe a progression of emphasis - not a hierarchy of human worth or a guarantee of spiritual attainment.

Beyond the Foundations

Syncronicia continues beyond the foundational book and learning pathway into questions of Awakening, Knowing and Conscious Synchronicity.

It considers how heightened observation and discernment may help people recognise emerging patterns, relationships, opportunities and appropriate timing.

It also leaves room for metaphysical questions about consciousness and interconnectedness. Such hypotheses are presented as subjects for inquiry, not established scientific facts.

Inquiry remains open. Personal judgement remains essential.

Question. Observe. Understand. Participate.

Syncronicia does not ask visitors to surrender their judgement or follow one prescribed path. Begin with the book, explore the philosophy, or simply reflect on what you discover.
